Review on 🔲 Plastics 2000 Lexan Polycarbonate Sheet by David Lesperance

Used to make mold making clay tile work templates, a fantastic choice of materials! Can't wait to order more for another project. Tip for beginners with this material: 1) You can cut it with a jig saw, band saw or table saw. 2) If using a table saw, USE A ZERO GAP PLATE. I didn't, and it scared the shit out of me every time the blade hit the sheet. It makes a very loud popping noise. I also attached the board to the saw fence; The sheet I bought was thin enough to make you walk around underneath. 3) Do it slowly but cut intentionally otherwise it will leave a weird edge on the cut. It was a great purchase and interesting material to work with. Arrived perfectly square but just under 12" x 12". I'm guessing it was probably just sawing through the blade when they broke the big blade to sell the 12" square blades. High quality material and appears to be very durable!
