Review on 📞 OM Digital Solutions TP-7 Telephone Pick Up: Enhance Call Clarity and Quality with this Superior Device by Greg Baker

I hesitated not to realize how easy this little thing works. I connected it to my Sony ICD-UX71 digital voice recorder, put the receiver in my ear and made a call. I tested it on the go with my Palm Treo680 cell phone. He answered the call beautifully from both ends. I got all the sounds from the car too, but it might be a function of my Sony radio, I don't know for sure. In any case, the microphone in this device is sensitive and works very well! The speaker seemed a little uncomfortable at first, but I got used to it quickly and it didn't cause any discomfort. For those wondering how this ingenious little device works, the other side of the earpiece, the part that rests against the phone when you hold it to your ear, is the microphone and picks up sound from your phone handset. When I listened to the playback of my recordings, I did NOT notice that the caller's voice was quieter than mine, as another reviewer pointed out. But you can tell that it was a phone call and not a personal conversation. Although this might be a function of the phone equipment I use (both on my end and with the two people I called - both speaking to me from an iPhone3G). I mention the make/model of the recorder and the mobile phone. Make/Model, as the quality of the recording can be directly related to these factors. I wanted this phone interview solution to be used for a podcast I'm working on. This is a great alternative to Skype and very convenient! I definitely recommend it.
