This coat is well made and looks very nice. I ordered the XL and it has a little more room which I like when wearing a thick sweater underneath. I'm 5'9 and about 170 lbs. Overall I am very happy with this purchase! UPDATE: I have had this coat since March 2014 and this update was written in January 2016. This coat is still on! I didn't have to change any of the knobs and it doesn't roll at all. This is still my favorite winter jacket. I'm a lawyer and this goes great with a skirt suit or pantsuit, but I can still pair it with riding boots and jeans. Mine is a little longer than it looks in the photo (and I'm tall). Also, the XL gives me some room so my suit or sweater is still comfortable. My parameters are 38-30-44. I still love this coat!
