Two years ago, I bought two calipers. One known manufacturer "BORT" and the second is the same as new. German cost 3500 Chinese 600. After two years of regular use in training, the result is this. "BORT" stretched out to not a decent size and, accordingly, stopped fixing anything. The Chinese broke the lateral bones but stretched less. That is, I don’t see the point in overpaying, and both of them normally coped with the task up to a certain point. On the new caliper, silicone strips are added inside to prevent slipping. Let's see how they show themselves in action. While I was at two training sessions, there are no complaints.
