Review on OOK Hillman 50918 07424000639 Brass by Amy Mcleod

I used these OOK sets for my paintings/mirrors/memo boards/etc. used. Hanging takes more than ten years. Quality control has gone downhill. The pack I bought from HomeDepot 5 years ago was ready so I got the same set here at Revain. Although at first glance it is the same - in reality it is not. The old packaging was "packaged in the USA and the parts are made in different countries". The new one is imported from China, where all production and packaging takes place. Guess what - all the nails in the kit are large. Smaller nails should be used for lighter hooks and larger nails for larger hooks. In my package, all the nails were the same - very large. With original hooks and small nails, OOK Hardware left tiny holes in the wall, making it the perfect solution for my home. The new nails are too big and leave very large holes in the wall that are more difficult to patch. I only use small nails and small hooks - the kit is practically useless. Disappointed with both the redesign of the hook holes and the choice of nails.
