It's good. I read many reviews about it. 1) Rubber gets dirty. but we don't mind because we like it because it's very soft so it won't hurt the baby 2) Volume: no better (less than other brands) but I think it's loud enough 3) Light: yes, actually it is not very high. It should get better, but to be honest we don't even care about this feature. 4) Buttons: Yes, they are not visible in the dark. But come on! It's only FOUR buttons. and they have a shape. You can feel them and easily understand what you are pressing. We bought it to take with us in the stroller or to take around the house. The children's room features a Munchkin projector and a voice-activated sound machine. This is a great combination.
