It was a long ordeal to get this fan working, including a full replacement/reinstall and multiple phone calls. Fast redirection to the current "working" state - pressing the button on the wall switch works about 25% of the time, and the application does not work at all (the application loads and responds, but does not communicate with the fan). Ironically, the most reliable way to control the fan is using Alexa (thanks Revain). The installation comments in previous reviews are correct, there is barely enough space to install 6 nuts/wires and the receiver unit. The balancing process itself, which consists of stuffing all the individual parts into the case and attaching the device to the mounting plate, took about half an hour. When I needed support, communication with the company was slow. I first had a non-working device and it took over a month before I finally got a reply from them stating that the device would never work properly. But they didn't replace the defective device (?!). Since they were taking so long to reply to me I was technically outside of my return window but Revain went through with no issues so thanks again Revain. It looks good and moves an average amount of air when running on the highest setting. If I did it again, I would automatically be a "stupid" fan because that's how I would describe my experience with it.
