I bought this because I love the fact that it can be solar powered. I noticed that the solar panel should be tilted. I originally just hung it, but it didn't work. Since the battery died after two weeks. Therefore, the camera stays charged as soon as I put the mount on. So far things are going better. I'm still curious to see how she will handle the cold, dreary weather in southern Ohio. This camera is very easy to use. The SD card works great. And the motion detector works well. If the battery does not recharge, you can simply remove it and bring it indoors to recharge the battery. Even if you connect it to WiFi. You must be in the same room where you want your router to connect. If you are far away, it cannot connect at the first time. Once connected everything is fine. I love this camera and would buy it again although I find it to be a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for, that's my thought!
