I already owned its big brother, the outdoor cam, so had the app installed. Took about 10 seconds to set it up. This one seems somewhat more solid in terms of software. I bought these to point out of the windows, but they were useless at night unless the camera is pressed against the glass. Glare from streetlights obscured the view entirely.They include sticky pads to attach the base of the camera to the surface—I cut them out into a donut shape and placed around the lens to attach the camera to the window. Video footage comes in clear now!Wish there was a way to turn off the audio so it does not record. You can only mute it while reviewing the footage.

This little economical camera has been great. I originally wanted to be able to monitor doors, and this was cheaper than 2 door sensors. I have been pleasantly surprised by how useful the camera is. I never have trouble accessing the camera remotely and there are no cloud storage fees and no additional hub required. You just need an SD card. It wired as intended but I do have one complaint. The set up is not easy. If you try to configure with out enabling exact location then the camera always fails to configure. Weird and interesting that you can’t configure it without locating services. Turn that on and it works like a champ.

Omg thank you for this affordable surveillance camera. Can supervise it on the app while you’re not home and it notifies you when there’s motion and sound detection I prefer motion because my home can be loud outside my room but I prefer motion to know when someone steps into it. I feel so much relief having that in my room. This is worth buying ^.^

Set up was a breeze. Just remember when connecting to your Wi-fi it only connects to 2.4 ghz while your wifi is most likely on 5 ghz right now. The camera works good although it runs very warm so we'll see how long it lasts. The app is garbage, at least on an iphone. It always glitches out, freezes up, loses connection and the list goes on. The web browser is just as bad. I guess you get what you pay for.

This was just was i was looking for. Easy to install and app was easy to download. Small so they can be detected and can see in the dark.

I’m giving this product a 3 star because if 2 major things. 1. The connectivity part! I got 2 sets of 4 and I had the same problem with the first set of cameras one connected very easily and didn’t take much time but the second one would not connect or read the bar code so it took me roughly about 2 hrs to funny get the blue light and the sound then. 2. I have had zero problems with this camera so far. It hooked up easily as long you connect it to the 2.4hz wifi of your connection. It detects motion perfectly and the night vision via Infrared is great. I can watch my apartment via my phone perfectly.

Motion alert works like a charm. Noise detection doesn't work worth beans. Even though the mic works just fine. The image quality is fairly good. It's as good as 1080p gets with such low Bitrate. Fair trade for efficient memory size I suppose. The night vision is outstanding. Although I wish there were a way to use night vision without the red light coming on. After having a wheel stolen off of my car in the middle of the night, I needed to get some surveillance in case it happens again. The Geeni is small and inconspicuous, so it fits in my window perfectly, and has excellent image quality. The app (used along the instruction manual) is user-friendly, and I am so glad I was able to find something so price-friendly to help my situation- tires ain't cheap!

Works great and have not had any problems. My only complaint is 2-way communication doesn’t seem to work that well, but that could be user error.

My daughter wanted these as I'm not in the best of health, she lives 30 minutes away and wanted to keep eyes on me. This past weekend it proved it's worth and she was able to get rescue to my side for help. She said the night vision is amazing.
