Great design, great quality, works easily and properly, worth the price. When leather is rubbed, folded, etc., it will show signs of wear, just like any matte or oiled leather. This relaxed, slightly aged look looks great on any watch that needs a more casual look. The strap is thicker than ultra-thin straps designed for very formal watches, but thinner than the heavy-duty straps used today for popular "big" watches, sports watches, aviator or dive watches. I took an old shiny brown alligator leather strap from my vintage Rolex and put it on. They have become everyday watches. New life for old clocks. Priceless!
