Great quality at a great price. I love the Hadley Rom and own several.

Great design, great quality, works easily and properly, worth the price. When leather is rubbed, folded, etc., it will show signs of wear, just like any matte or oiled leather. This relaxed, slightly aged look looks great on any watch that needs a more casual look. The strap is thicker than ultra-thin straps designed for very formal watches, but thinner than the heavy-duty straps used today for popular "big" watches, sports watches, aviator or dive watches. I took an old shiny brown alligator…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Crumpled

Poor quality watch strap. Looks awful after 5 months

Update: The inside of the strap ripped like a cheap belt after 5 months. The inside appears to be made out of a plastic base to which a thin layer of skin-like substance is glued. I've bought the best $5 watch bands at a discount store. This is my second Hadley Roma watch strap in this style, the first one looked good and was quite solid. I usually have to throw away leather straps after a year or so because they somehow break. I finally bought a new model of this model after about two years…

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • too boring

Looks great for less than €20.

Surprised how nice the strap looks. Leather usually looks like plastic at this price point. The leather on this strap has been treated to give it an aged appearance with good depth and colour. The edges of the strap are sanded well, the padding is good, the strap has a good taper of 22-18mm. The seams are straight, but not necessarily inspiring. The time will show. I bought this for a watch that I only wear occasionally. One would expect a lot from a $16 bracelet to withstand everyday wear.

Cons
  • So far so good

Two loops = split back

The watch strap looks very attractive but has a serious design flaw that limits its lifespan. If you look at the picture you will see two loops that the rest of the watch strap has to go through. Unfortunately, one of these loops is attached forever. This makes attaching the strap almost impossible as you have to bend the strap a lot when pushing down to keep the metal clasp from slipping out of the hole. (Most of the time it pops anyway.) What makes this design particularly problematic is that

Pros
  • Fits me perfectly
Cons
  • No instructions

Good replacement strap

I bought several of these straps to replace the original straps on my Wenger/Swiss Army watch. The width (22mm) was accurate and the soft leather strap was the same quality as the original. I replaced the clasp with the original Swiss army clasp. The only problem I had was getting the right length. It's a bit short - I'm on the last step. I should have ordered a longer version but last time it was too long. Overall, this is an eye-catching band that beautifully sets off a Swiss Army watch…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not all fit

One of my favorite bands for the price

Tremendous value for the dollar. I have over 6 of these "tanned" Headley rum bands and they NEVER disappoint. Leather changes beautifully over time, and only more expensive straps can feel it. If I had one gripe, it would be my 7.25-inch wrist, which "just" fits normally and, interestingly enough, is too small for a long band. I liked this purchase and will definitely be buying more in the near future.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Great look, durable!

So first off, let me say this watch strap looks and feels great! The skin is quite soft. However, this leads to my problem with the group. I've only been using it for a few weeks (two I think) and it's already starting to wear out and wrinkle a lot. I gave the group a 3 star rating but took the price into account so I increased it to 4. Considering what else the group offers. This is a great strap if you don't mind wrinkles and don't show your viewers the underside of the strap!

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • No Insurance

Dangerously dysfunctional but elegant looking

Original rating below. I hate writing negative reviews but I don't think anyone should risk their watch by buying this band. I bought two. Both failed in exactly the same way. The watch fell on the seat of a car for the first time. Next time hit the floor and scratched. I was damn lucky because the outage is so sudden and catastrophic that I could easily lose hours. See photos. It's just bad design. If you have this watch, PLEASE superglue the seams near the buckles. I hope this can really help

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
