I use UV resin for my small Etsy shop. I usually use the DecorRom brand, but I found this stuff and wanted to try it. Mainly because it comes in 500g and other items have a maximum weight of 200g. So I understand. and it works. It takes longer to cure under a UV lamp, but it works. It also comes out smooth and fairly easy to work with, right out of the bottle. Everything is quite satisfactory. "Okay, but why only 3 stars?" you're probably wondering. Spring. He stinks. It stinks of gasoline and ammonia. It stinks of strong chemicals and that stink starts as soon as you pour it from the bottle and continues under a UV lamp. The stench won't stop until she's fully cured. This is the stench that burns your nose and makes you dizzy. I even tried wearing the mask while using it and it goes right THROUGH the mask and continues to burn the senses. The only way I see to possibly avoid the stench is to use a full size respirator with massive filters, but I can't say on that as I don't have one. Given that this material is advertised as "There is a slight odor before curing". I think the people who wrote it either never used it or used it so much that their ability to smell anything is long gone because your nose has to be totally non-functional for you to feel that there is only "a slight smell". . the smell emanating from this material. Nonetheless. It works. If you don't have a working nose, buy a respirator with massive filters, plan to use it while standing outside, with a large fan to keep the stench off you while avoiding tipping over the resin itself, or just don't mind that acrid stench burning its way through your sinuses, I say do it. I? I return to other things. Much less smell.
