Review on πŸ’» Poyiccot RJ45 Screw Terminal Adaptor Connector - 2 pack, Female Jack to 8 Pin Screw Terminal for Cat7 Cat6 Cat5 Cat5e Ethernet Extender, CCTV, DVR Network Adapter by Mysocalled Gaultier

They do what they have to do with quality.

I ordered six (total) of these to upgrade my 3D printer harness to CAT6. I started with Keystone first, but the typical wire gauge on my printer (18-20 AWG) was too big for Keystone and damaged the connectors. I've checked each pin to make sure there aren't any short circuit issues and they seem fine. I also checked the pin orientation because I found several different pin orientations for the 8P8C screw terminals online: the leftmost pin is pin 1, and the remaining pins are in series (left to right: 1, 2, 3, 4). , 5, 6, 7, 8). This pin orientation is the same on both sides; ie you don't have to mirror the cables if you use a regular ethernet patch cord. However, if you are using a crossover cable, you MUST consider their orientation. If you're not sure what that means, check out the patch and crossover cable. If you have a standard, pre-terminated, general-purpose Ethernet cable, it is most likely a patch cord. The screw terminal shell on each connector can be removed and reinserted, making the terminals modular. Each terminal also has a textured patch of plastic on either side which is great for indelible marker identification (I use this as a reference mark to see which terminals match as there are three identical terminals on each side of my harness). Overall: Much more expensive than regular RJ45 keystones, but also more durable, more modular and able to accommodate larger gauge wires than push-pull keystones allow. I'm happy with them.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Weak set
