Excellent RAM, 1 got mixed up.

I bought 1 about 7 months ago but I bought another one exactly the same. The new one works fine in Windows, but when RAM exceeds 4GB in Task Manager, the computer freezes. Sometimes it shows various errors in bsod but when I googled them it always has something to do with RAM. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostics but found no errors. I removed the new stick and everything seems fine now. I will send back a new one. And I tried it in different slots.
