The CURT trailer receiver I tested did not meet expectations. As a result of my tests, I determined that it was not reliable for heavy towing, and could not handle standard loads .While the installation process was easy, it offered few benefits in terms of overall automotive performance. The only positive aspect was its affordable price point. Overall I was hesitant to recommend this towing product given its poor performance AND lack of versatility..
