As a young mother, I bought this set 26 years ago. I have used these rings over the years: as a system for attaching toys to a high chair or stroller, as teethers, as toys for connecting and making necklaces (etc.), as a means of learning to sort and count, as a ring for Hanging kitchen utensils and pots/pans in the kitchen, like a ring for hanging towels and washcloths in the bathroom, etc. Now I am disabled due to Multiple Sclerosis and confined to a wheelchair. I'm still looking for ways to use them. I really like using them to hang items on my hospital bed and wheelchair. This is the second set I've bought in 26 years, not because they broke (which never happened) but because over the years a few of them got lost and stuff like that. all the remains of my original set are used. If you are looking for a good gift for new parents, they will never stop using it. And be sure to go to the Discovery Toys homepage and look for a document that explains all the possible uses. I think the list is at least 100 items long. What would I do without Boomerings links? They have certainly paid for themselves several times over the years. I love these things.
