One of the sensors is not working, it reads the same temperature regardless of its position. I put it in the fridge from the freezer at room temperature and it consistently reads 36 degrees. The other gauge appears to be accurate and will change according to what appears to be accurate. I have also set the maximum and minimum alarm settings on the working sensor and tried to get the alarm to go off but it just goes to the maximum settings without the alarm going off. This also applies after a "10 minute window" after setting the min/max tolerance. There is also no way to contact the company for a replacement or assistance. **Edit** I was able to contact the company to get a replacement. The second block did the same with sensor 1, it continued to register an incorrect temperature and read half battery. This happens regardless of whether the sensor has batteries or not. The trick I learned was to just hold down the clear button to reset all displays/readings and remove the batteries. Eventually it worked and started reading carefully. Setting the alarm was very easy, I don't know why other reviewers had such trouble. Since the alarm didn't go off during my testing, I had several conversations with the company. I sent a video of me setting and testing the alarm and shows that the alarm will not go off if the maximum setting is exceeded. I tested the system by removing the sensor from the fridge or freezer and just waiting. Each time the transducer was raised 20ยฐ above the max setting before it beeped which to me was not a good indicator of the transducers/blocks ability to warn me of the set limit. After much communication and testing of the sensors/unit I realized that the sensor is not capable of registering such rapid changes even when exceeding the tolerance. If a sensor's environment changes too quickly, it will take some time for it to "catch up". Keep an eye on the temperature of my garage fridge and this is the only one I could find that doesn't have the main unit battery powered. Also, if something were to happen to the power supply to the refrigerators, a slower rise in temperature should be alarming since the sensor environment hasn't changed drastically.
