Grease flows right through and out of microwave openings

Doesn't pick up airborne grease I have cabinets with windows and of course right above the microwave...so those windows have grease that I need to clean further (only the windows above the microwave, near the vents that vent the air sucked over the cooker). So...I don't know why these still new grease filters aren't doing the job? This should just be a simple fix and obviously doesn't work properly.
