I have no doubt you can find better ones for more money but I think this one is amazing for the price. The fans are barely audible. I had to experiment a bit with moving my laptop up or down to get the fans actually under the laptop vents. If you place the laptop directly on it, the fans will blow into the part of the laptop where there are no vents. The laptop works much better for game emulation. I used to have frequent freezing and stuttering but now they are gone. Cooler laptop = more power (to a point) It's really cool that the power port is also passed through. It's also nice in general as it tilts the laptop a bit.
