You get what you pay for.
I bought 5 of these. Saved about 30% off the price at local big department stores that sell cheap same quality valves. 3 out of 5 leaked the valve stems but I managed to tighten the gland and stop the leak. After 24 hours 1 of the ones I had tightened started leaking again but I was able to re-tighten to stop it. Let's see how they look tomorrow. I wish I could pay double the price for some of the big brands quality valves and if they start leaking again I might have to do it anyway. It's not interesting to turn on the water and see water run out brand new valves dripping!
