Review on Creuset Silicone Handle Sleeve Cerise by Paula Brown

I was so happy to find this in my mum's favorite color for a future Christmas present. I have the blue version for my own 9" Le Creuset pan and it works great. I would consider it (or something similar) almost a necessity for any cast iron pan. Apparently you can eventually forget the handle and end up with unprotected hands .Also, sometimes you just need to move the pan quickly without looking for potholders! It saves you from getting burned. When the pan is very hot you won't be able to hold the handle for very long, but it will keep you safe and allow you to hold/move the pan short distances I don't think the color has faded and it seems like it will last forever.
