As a budget bag, it's better than most, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I have a nice $100+ Topeak MTX bag on my bike, but my daughter didn't think it was worth the price. She also wanted something smaller and didn't want to change her stance (Topeak fits into her stance and blocks). So I did quite a bit of research and bought her this one as a gift. Expecting the same quality would be irrational, so I think it's good value for money, BUT. I have used their bike a couple of times. Today I went to the grocery store and suddenly I bought 3 pounds of fruit and other groceries. I split the load over 2 sides so each side is 3-4 lbs. When I got home 20 minutes later I noticed that the seams on the pockets had started to stretch along the seam line and there were small holes. It is clear that this bag will break if I do this 5-10 times or fill the bags. She doesn't expect to carry things and that's one of the reasons she couldn't do justice to the Topeak bag. So this bag is only for surprise purchases. But it is clear that he cannot cope with it. Hard-bottomed bags stay more stable and won't fall off. This bag has somewhat rigid sides and a bottom so it stays in place well. There is a plastic tab at the end and we took a ball end bungee and threaded it through that tab and around the frame of the bike. This keeps the bag in place in addition to the Velcro straps under the bag. It largely prevents right-left shifting. The only time I had an issue was another time when I was only putting things in one of the side pockets. On this trip the bag tipped over, but the bungee cord kept it from going too far. We found the velcro straps were long enough for her stand. Removing and reinstalling is not difficult. It expands and I can put my small purse, skirt and sweater in it and ride to work. I did not use the mini bungee built into the top of the bag. If you're buying this to carry things in side pockets, this isn't the best choice. The pockets are much smaller than on my Topeak. I doubt you'll find a better bag in this price range, but if you need to carry things just admit to yourself that you need to spend money on a good bag. Otherwise you're wasting $40 because I doubt it will hold up if we reload the side pockets. The zippers are plastic and ok, not terrible, not great. ). It's just impossible to get a quality, functional product at such a price. It would be nice if you only had to bring a sweater and skirt or very light clothing.
