The crinkly ones pass the burn test for silk, for those who are upset that it might be polyester. I'm not an expert but it seems reasonable to me that there are different grades of silk. So it will not be the same as a Hermes or other designer brand. They're still very pretty and look great to brighten up a sleeveless top or wear over swimsuits. The smoother ones may be a blend based on a burn test but either way a good value, especially for the size and colors.
