UPDATE: I eventually stopped wearing this shoe. The smack in the right boot was too loud and annoying. When I walked on hard ground, I sounded like a spike-legged pirate. I can still wear them on a few occasions but only because I feel like I wasted my money on these shoes. First Review: The fit, comfort and look of the shoe are great. Except for one small issue, I really love these shoes. There is a part of the right shoe that differs from the left shoe even though they look the same. When I walk, the left boot is perfect, but the right boot makes a weird "pop" at the toe when it hits a hard surface. It's as if the act of walking creates tension in my toe that releases when I lift my foot, causing a noticeable "bump." It's not a problem on carpet, but it's easy to hear on hard floors like concrete or parquet. We have hardwood floors at home and it feels like I'm stamping my right foot as I casually walk around the house. I was hoping that adjusting the pitch would help, but it didn't work and was uncomfortable. I've been wearing them for a week now but I hope they get better over time.
