I usually say don't buy cheap belts. Especially something as necessary as a black belt. Buy a good one (I love my saddleback leather belts), pay more and never buy again. But I understand the need for cheap belts. I wouldn't pay hundreds of dollars for it if I didn't wear it at least once a week or if it broke easily. This one isn't that bad. This is actually one of the best I've seen at the budget end. The problem is that around $40 (February 2021) isn't really cheap. I wouldn't pay more than 25€ for it. It's well made for what it is, but it's still trying to sell some leather where there's hardly any. A fully synthetic material would be better because it tears and there's not much you can do about it. So for me it's four stars. As other reviewers have written: Good everyday belt. It's just not a random prize.
