I'm undergoing chemotherapy. One of the side-effects is neuropathy in the hands & feet which causes greatly increased sensitivity to cooler air temperatures & cool/cold surfaces. So I bought the gloves to protect my hands. I bought the medium size & wish I had bought the small. For me, the medium just doesn't fit snug enough. They're too large to allow me to be able to use my smartphone so I have to take them off to do anything with it. But they do keep my hands warm when the air temperature is below 70 degrees.
