Just received this item and boxed for the first time. I'm on a 4 day trip and packed it in my carry on. Turns out I didn't use the bottles/jars that came with it because my current stuff fits. However, the bottles provided seemed to be of good quality. The plastic is pretty thick. The smaller pocket on top holds MUCH more than I thought it would. The third bottom pocket offers plenty of space for other things. I put my comb and full size brush on the stuff in the cases and it worked great! The bottom pocket took a bit of fiddling to fit all my makeup, but it worked well. (see photo) I made some travel stuff to make it work. I could have used full size stuff in some places but I didn't want to. I bought this bag because I needed something that I can fold. I can put it horizontally in my checked baggage or keep it half-open in my carry-on baggage. On this trip I put it in my hand luggage (see photo). This is exactly what I was hoping for.
