Review on Radix One Black Steel Minimalist by Jacob Mayberry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feel free to try!

I bought this Radix One wallet to replace another similar wallet that I had to return to the manufacturer for a warranty replacement (Ridge wallet). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and durability of this wallet. The metal parts in this wallet are thinner than my Ridge wallet, but they also don't require small screws to hold the parts together. These screws were the root cause of my Ridge wallet warranty issue that was less than 2 years old. The elastic band on this wallet seems to be quite thick and durable. This will provide a good non-slip surface in my pocket. My first impression of this wallet is great! It took me a while to get used to the minimalist wallet at first, but now I had no other choice. No more bulky foldable wallet in the back pocket that makes sitting for a long time uncomfortable. If you don't know how to switch to such a wallet, consider a few points. Use this wallet to carry only the essentials. I have a debit card, driver's license, health insurance card, subway fare card and another personal card. I have a separate wallet that doesn't stay on my body to carry other less important things that used to live in my old style wallet. I keep this wallet in a safe box in the car where I always have access to these things if I need them anytime.
