Review on ๐ŸŽต Enhance Your Vinyl Listening Experience with the ART DJPREII Phono Preamplifier by Molly Gordon

Can be used as a night light

The sound quality in my setup is good without the use of a rumble low pass filter or selectable cartridge loading. The Gain switch is not in a fixed/fixed position as ideally it should be adjusted for optimal results on every recording. I think it's very good value for money, but there are two issues that bother me. 1) The blue LED on the front is incredibly bright and obnoxious. You need to dull the tone or even switch to a duller color. 2) There is no power switch on the device, so it is on all the time. It definitely sounds better than the built-in preamps on turntables that have it. I'd recommend it for a modest investment, but I suggest you also check out the reels of the VP29 phono stage or the TCC TC-750LC BLACK professional moving magnet preamp, as they're all in the same price range.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Poorly tuned
