I really like this adaptor. It is sleek and matches the space gray color and thickness of my new Macbook. I really like that the lower portion has a light that ignites when the adaptor is successfully connected to your device. Personally, I always remove the adaptor when I want to pack my laptop up/move around spaces a lot because I am fearful of breaking the usb connectors off, but if it weren't for that fear I would probably leave the adaptor plugged in all the time!Also, the adaptor does not work with a laptop case. BUT, if you get a cheap case, you can easily cut off some of the plastic to allow the adaptor to fit. You can see the tan case on my laptop - I cut it down about 2.5 inches on the left side so the adaptor would fit and I am super happy with that! Heat the plastic case up with a lighter for a few seconds and it will be easy to cut/modify.
