The jacket is excellent at keeping the lambs cool but does not protect well from dust. Went to the show, took off my jacket and found the lamb in the mesh jacket was a dusty brown, not white. However, it does the job of keeping lamb cool. Another option is to dampen the feathers with water to prevent dust from seeping through the jacket onto the wool.
