I was looking for a small touchscreen monitor that I could use as a control panel for the electronics I connect to Linux based computers. On Ubuntu 20.04 it worked almost without problems. Use xinput to get the touchscreen information (search for ELAN touchscreen) and xrandr to get the display connection. From there it all works with one command: xinput map-to-output [input number returned by xinput the first time] [show connection] I can also confirm that it works out of the box on a Chromebook. For both scenarios, be sure to use a USB cable, a power cable, and a good quality HDMI cable. Everything was delivered in one box.
