Review on 📶 Cisco-Linksys WRT160N Wireless-N Broadband Router: Superior Connectivity for Seamless Internet Access by Mario Beats

I don't often give a product 5 stars, but the Linksys Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Router exceeded my expectations. The blue status LEDs match some of my other components and look very sleek and modern. Did I mention there is no visible antenna? It's hidden in a block. The LEDs aren't too bright which is a good thing as I watch movies on TV about 2ft from this pup. In terms of functionality, this router seems to do everything I need it to do. It could work out of the box, but I needed WEP encryption like my old Wireless-G network I was replacing. The configuration menus can be a little complicated for beginners (and I personally find the Linksys menus a little more tedious to navigate than their competitors), but all the features are there and once you know where they are, changing the setting becomes easy. Scope. I have not installed the included software and see no need for it. If you look back in the book and plug in the power cord, modem, and ethernet cable, this thing works right out of the box. The performance is fantastic! I previously had a Netgear Wireless-G router and couldn't get a signal in my upstairs corner bedroom (the router is upstairs with all my gaming systems). I get an awesome signal anywhere in my house with this pup. Unlike my previous routers, I never had to reboot this one. Overall, the product meets and even exceeds my expectations. I'm sure there are other Wireless N routers that do the same. However, what makes this product so much better is that the price is VERY low compared to other wireless n routers. For casual users, gamers, and families looking to set up a wireless network, this router is for you. If you're the type of techie who isn't satisfied if you don't have the best hardware available, you can probably find something better for two to three times the price.
