UPDATE 12/20/20: Everything was going great until the razor head just came off. The plastic part holding the razor was broken beyond repair. It broke without effort and during normal operation. The head should be a one-piece construction, but it certainly isn't. Maybe these aren't real? Great razor, buy from a trusted source. I have had a thick thick beard for 12 years now and use trimmers to straighten it. I had to shave for work so I had to buy my first razor. I hate the idea of being tied to a cartridge razor and paying crazy prices for a mediocre shave. I knew I wanted a razor and the OneBlade was recommended to me by the tailors. My biggest concern was accidentally cutting myself and I started my first shave with trepidation. All fears were immediately dispelled. I don't think I could cut myself if I tried! The highlight is the ingenious OneBlade swivel head. Construction: OneBlade Core has stainless steel handle wrapped with hard plastic, very suitable weight, length and grip. It seemed solid and well made. The swivel head is made entirely of hard plastic. Head: The perfect combination of a fixed razor and a pivoting cartridge head. The guards on the swivel head keep the razor at the perfect angle, preventing you from pressing against your face or cutting yourself parallel to the blade. I started to shave reluctantly, and ended up spinning. I shaved my jaw slightly. chin and mustache. Overall impression: This razor offers the smoothest shave I have ever seen and leaves no irritation. The included super stiff spring blades made it possible for me to shave so close to my skin. I pressed relatively hard and didn't cut myself. As I have darker skin I was concerned about cuts and burns. I ended up with just a remarkably smooth shave and NO irritation. What more do you want? The perfect shaver for regular use. I intend to stick with it.
