Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 235/45 R17 97Y summer by Micha Grt ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

I bought one of the first tires when they initially went on sale in 2022. Operation: a weekly application of 235/45R17 to VW Passat 170 forces. We only provide the XL version (reinforced, denser, and thicker sidewalls), which indicates a high-speed tire with an index (Y) up to 300 km/h and ZR rather than merely R. A tire with a wear index of 420 has a very excellent chance of lasting four seasons. The Michelin features slightly stiffer sidewalls than the ContiPremiumContact 5, making them far more resistant to hernias (with Conti, they are soft like rags). In terms of noise, the Michelin is somewhat quieter. Although I haven't noticed many differences in taxiing yet, Michelin appears to respond to the steering wheel more clearly. The Michelin does not feel the rut that the Conti was thrown into. There are no hums or howls when accelerating to 150 km/h; only a gentle rustle. The speed index makes Michelin more intriguing than Conti in terms of reliability at high speeds. same cost. I selected between Michelin PS4 and ContiPremiumContact 5 (or rather, ContiSportContact, which is nearly identical), but Michelin won out in terms of the mix of attributes. I'm really enjoying everything so far. By the way, pay attention to who will accept complimentary tire fitting at certain authorized Michelin locations through May 31 when purchasing a set of summer tires.

Pros
  • An extremely intriguing tire. Very quiet and excellent handling. One cannot feel the track. superb acceleration and braking without sliding. They just got out, so we haven't yet been able to ride in the rain. Later, I'll include a review.
