So I bought them and they worked great. And then one day I found a big chip on the straw. I couldn't find a piece and thought I might have hit it somewhere and hopefully not swallowed it. Then I used another straw. Today I was drinking and then I felt something being shot in my mouth. I spat out the liquid and what I felt in my mouth got stuck in my gums. I pulled it out and it was the piece of glass in the photo. It was from my straw. I just pass them all on and decide on plastic or metal. I wouldn't risk using another glass straw.
