Review on 🐾 Paws Aboard: Dog Life Jacket Vest for Swimming and Boating - Boost It! by Elizabeth Sheldon

I have a Jack Russell Terrier that is slightly smaller than most of his breed. I've read a lot of reviews about the small and very small size of this life jacket and am unsure what size is right for my JT Rocky. Unfortunately, my best guess was inaccurate. So I'm going to give you the sizes I have available (my dog and my vest) hoping you know which to choose if you have a small dog. The small size was too big for my Jack Russell. Rocky, the amazing (and extremely handsome) Jack Russell Terrier: Weight: 14.5 lbs. Neck circumference: 10 inches. Chest (measured just behind the front legs): 18 inches. : 15" collar for private individuals (called peep collar here): 12" The last measurement is very important if you really don't want your probably already spayed male dog to lose all the external characteristics of a male dog (or you want your male dog or Your bitch pee all over her life jacket). To be honest. I didn't think of that when we bought the life jacket but the small size of the life jacket made it a bit more stylish as it was way too long! Neck size 12" (max adjustment - no velcro used - just strap and buckle to cover opening): 18". Chest straps have great flexibility. I was able to fit the vest around my dog with ease and it would probably keep it up in the air enough, but he would HATE it and it was definitely too big! As I mentioned earlier, he invaded his guardian. It was too long so he hid it, which upset him greatly. It's hard to measure here. I hope I can add some photos to help. The life jacket itself is amazing! I like Velcro in combination with buckles and straps. Additional security. The straps are thick and wide and covered with breathable fabric. This will be much more convenient! The life jacket is well made and looks like it should stand up to many water adventures. I ordered a very small life jacket and am returning it to Revain.
