I didn't pay for a used unit but this is what I got

I was happy to get this for my bar. I noticed that the box originally had two layers of tape, but not that many. The accessory box has not been opened. But the plastic bag the device was wrapped in had a torn tape as if it had been unpacked and re-wrapped in the same plastic bag. No sweat, maybe it's an accident. I pulled the block out and noticed slight scratches in various places. At this point I started to wonder, but I pocketed it anyway. I immediately noticed that the remote control doesn't have a power switch, which is a problem with where I wanted to place it. Back then the whole reason I bought this was because of the A/B speakers, but they weren't selectable. What good are A/B speakers if they both play all the time? I kept playing songs and testing them with Yamaha's trusted speakers. I noticed that when the music faded out I heard a hiss between the riffs. Then, when the music wasn't playing, there was interference. The connections were tight, the speakers had no previous static electricity, and the speaker cables were brand new, from a reel. While listening to this noise, I manually lowered the volume and that's when I saw it. A HUGE amount of dust on the volume knob, only on one side of the knob like it's been sitting on a shelf for a while and the dust has settled. on the handle. I would have taken a picture but instinctively deleted it when I saw it. That was the last nail. I didn't pay anything for a used one. I bought this for the ability to select A/B speakers and later for the power off button on the remote. I had to return it. It was so far from what I thought I would buy.
