Ideal for your use. We used these shoes while rafting and it's nice not to have to worry about stepping on rocks or slipping, especially as we had to walk a very narrow dirt road to get to the beach. I haven't worn them all day, just a few hours but I have a feeling you can wear them all day with no problem. They remained comfortable and light and they appear to be well made. I used to buy cheaper ones and they just soiled with mud and sand and were thrown away after one use. They are very easy to wash off and the price really can't be beat! We're going back to the river in a few weeks and I'm glad to have her!
