With this flash you can take cool photos in a dark room!

tried to use it for flash photography for a physics experiment at school, it wasn't as bright as me had hoped . I need to set the ISO to 3200 and shoot in a dark room. have a result It allows you to take cool shots in a dark room with a strobe light. I photographed a falling apple. I want to photograph a falling cat, squirming through the air to land on its paws. I do not have a cat :-(

what i needed

Just received and works as expected. The light is bright enough to see the spinning flywheel of a vertical shaft lawnmower. (Asked a question before ordering.) The flywheel is covered by a grid and starter coil, but there is enough clearance to sync the flash to the flywheel. It's naturally shaded under the bars and that helps. Comes in a foam lined box and is cut/molded to size for safe storage with a detachable cord. A spare bulb was also included.

The auto-stop function is annoying

The device is basically as advertised. The flash isn't as bright as one might expect given its size. The strobe function on my phone is brighter. The frequency seems to be stable. The display is easy to read, but not backlit. One complaint (big one for me) is the AUTO STOP FLASHING feature (the last item listed in the manual). According to the manual, "The flash stops flashing about 5 minutes after it is turned on to extend the life of the flash. To make it work again you have to (sic) turn off
