I just got back from Frontier Waters in northern Minnesota and used a 70 liter bag for all my personal items. I made a good choice! I was a little apprehensive about how I was going to carry it in my trains, but prior to the trip I found that I could put my hands through the straps and carry it on my back. When I realized I could do this, I was over the moon with happiness. It was completely dry and incredibly durable. Yes, the bag is big, but the great thing about it is that the opening of the bag falls down to take up extra space. Just roll it up and snap another set of straps. Next time I go on a BWCA trip, I will take some packing material to attach two straps to make carrying more convenient. My buddy had a small dry bag that he couldn't carry like mine and had to carry his like a baby instead. It exhausted him completely.
