So wash and dry them first before judging. I didn't know when I bought them, they only had a 2 inch hem. I've always seen 4-6 inch seams. I use them for sewing appliqué and 2 inch stitches work much better for my purposes. Very happy with them. I went back and bought 12 packs for my shop. They shrink a bit and are perfect for a standard sized pillow. They will likely be small or not hang over the pillow if you have a queen size pillow. They're made from a cotton/poly blend and I really like them. I can rip out my embroidery if I make a mistake and no holes remain. Love it. The picture is a bit deceptive due to the size of the hem. Just make sure you know it's a 2" edge and you'll be happy.
