This was my second bike speedometer and I chose it over my first bike because I liked it better. It turned out to be a big mistake. It's a crappy device, it doesn't work despite my best efforts, and the poorly written instructions are just plain wrong and misleading. Refers to a 12V battery, which just doesn't exist. And the latch holding the speedometer to the bracket is weak, I broke it the first time I tried to loosen it. These cheaper devices are inferior Chinese knockoffs of higher quality devices, and after spending around $20 on something like this only to be disappointed, I decided to stick with the more expensive, higher quality devices. I was sad to see my son's frustration when I couldn't get this to work on his bike and I know how to set these things up.
