I am disappointed that the leather tears at first sight even after moderate use. It looks like the sutures have weakened the skin enough to rupture, not the thread or suture. Otherwise I would just assume I received a defective or unusual piece of material, but this isn't the first pair from this brand to wear out with a lot of good tread on the outsole.
