I had three different areas that needed lighting for Christmas decorations. These lights are so cool! They worked great and I had enough strands to work on each area separately. I have one left that I will use for my Christmas photos, but I haven't installed it yet. The light has several different modes and the remote control makes it easy to switch between these modes. Please note that the remote control must be pointed at the plug for it to work. I didn't understand this at first and thought they wouldn't work. The best thing about these lights is the timer function on the remote control. I used to have to set these big bulky timers which was always a problem and since I had so many different areas with lights I needed a timer for each area boo :( but I set the timer from the remote to these lights and it works like a charm!Plug in the light, point the remote at the plug to turn it on and set the light to the mode you want, then just press the timer button, the lights will flash and turn on then back on to let you know they are in timer mode. They turn off automatically and turn on again the next day at the same time! Love this feature and I have to thank the company too. They got me Sent a handwritten note thanking me for my order. I would highly recommend using their lights and ordering from this company.
