Review on IR Repeater System Control Theater by Anna Coleman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

So far it works great. I only connected it to one device. Update-1 IR transmit line is completely dead.

Works great so far. I've only connected it to one device as I'm still building my office in the new house we've moved into. I cut the IR receiver cable and connect it to the CAT 5E cable that runs from the video cabinet to the TV wall mount. The IR receiver is mounted on the wall directly below the television. Will be updated as the build progresses. Run for about 100 minutes, no lag. The blue LED lets the IR receiver know it has received a signal from the remote, that's great! Connected to my Blu-ray DVD player/Smart Hub and added a second IR emitter by plugging directly into the device's receiver. Didn't work, tried another station on that line, didn't work either. I changed everything in places and nothing on the second transmitter worked, not a single device. I was able to connect the components to another transmitter, so now I have 3 components, a stereo, a digital tuner and a Blu-ray/smart hub powered by just 2 IR transmitters. Not something I wanted to do as the closet is not set up to work and takes up more space. Disappointed that only one of the IR emitter lines that came with the system actually worked. My initial rating would not have been 5 stars if I had tried using it on the initial install.
