Edit: After using this belt for a couple of weeks I came back and deducted one star for the leather retainer loop - it's just too tight! When you put the belt on or are rebuckling it, even after a break-in period it remains very hard to push the tip of the belt thru the loop. Just a quarter inch more leather on that loop and it would be fine, but it's very snug and a hassle as a result. Otherwise, everything I said below holds true.First, leather belts tend to be surprisingly expensive at the men's stores, so when I saw this at about $21, I was intrigued. I gave it a shot, and I'm glad I did.I have a 35" waist and so ordered a medium, and it's just about right on. The belt has 7 holes, so it's very adjustable, and it fits me in the center hole or maybe one hole tighter depending on which pants I'm wearing. Either way, I have room to pack on a few pounds or drop a few and it will still be workable. The leather seems like a nice quality, thick and heavy enough to wear well but not so thick that it won't quickly conform to your body as decent leather things tend to do. Even the buckle is a nice quality - and black, like the belt! Don't think I'd seen that before, but I like it, although I do wonder if it will eventually wear off and expose bright brass or nickel metal beneath. It would still be a nice belt, and to me, that would just add to the well-worn patina that I so like about leather items.Nice product, good price - a great find.
