While the manual itself is confusing with incorrect instructions, the digital electronics are just great with all their endless bells and whistles. 2, The radio reception is very good even for distant stations. 3. When tuned to a transmitter, it is at the fixed dead center of the transmitter. at weak stations. 5, Audio Spectrum - full range, bass, mid and treble for such a small speaker. Cons: 1, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY THIS RADIO if you are looking for something nice to listen to beforehand. 2, because the moment you turn it on, you can't wait to turn it off. this makes listening to every station very uncomfortable, if not unbearable.4 , The radio will play exactly as described above if you turn it on at a low volume. (i.e. 1/4 full volume), anything above that will be completely distorted. BOTTOM LINE if you want an emergency radio HATE IT but you will have what you need. And to be honest, he's well built. But it all boils down to the QUESTION: Of course I like all the fancy gimmicks, but can I listen to this? And the answer to that is GREAT NO NO NO ABSOLUTELY NO. If you can't listen to it, then what's the use. DO NOT BUY. I'm very frustrated, I've looked at radios everywhere and none of them sound very good. I have a 1980 boombox, it wasn't anything special then, but now it's a treasure because when I hear it, the music, the disc jockey's voices, the conversations on AM or FM radio, it's all soothing and enjoyable.
