Stationary doesn't fit in the envelopes?

I thought it was cute until I realized the stationary doesn't fit in the envelopes? Bought for summer writing project but after writing a letter we found not only does the stationary not fit the envelops (we had to cute over an inch off the sides), there is no way to seal the envelops past glue or tape. Cute but not for real use!
