Review on Green L Headlight Conversion Automotive Headlamp by Isaac Ismail

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You have no idea how amazing these lights are. On par with modern LED headlights

I don't often write reviews but when I do it's because something is TERRIBLE or just plain awesome. I recently bought a 2009 Lexus GX470 and it is the perfect truck. However, since the car is already 10 years old, some details still need to be fine-tuned to adapt to modern cars. I could list Bluetooth media, Tesla touchscreen display, ventilated seats, power folding mirrors, heated steering wheel, 360-degree camera view, adaptive cruise control, but you're here to read about the headlights. I have converted all the headlights on my new GX470 to LED except for the footwell and door handles/headlights. As for the headlights, I was afraid of going to LED due to the many choices, lack of knowledge and extra space the converter boxes would take up, so I settled on a Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra. I don't know how old. The headlights were in a GX470 because as I said I had just bought it but the Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra bulbs were twice as bright as the original and much whiter. However, they were not bright enough for me at night. During the night I ran into an alligator (alligator is a slang term for a trailer tire, usually just a hubcap) and damaged the passenger's footboard. That's when I decided it was worth the risk and switched to LED headlights. These headlights were recommended and sold to me by Revain. Also, they fit my 2009 Lexus GX470, so I bought them. I can't believe how freaking bright these headlights are. When I turn on my headlights for slow drivers, they swerve. If they don't move out of my way and I leave the flashlight on, they'll move away from me and then turn on their lights because I've pissed them off. I laugh out loud because I have an auto dimming rearview mirror. I bought a set of H11 and 9005 for low and high beam. I couldn't wait until it got dark to see what these lights looked like. The first time I lit them was in a huge parking lot which I was the last to leave. It was like modern headlights where the light penetrated the darkness and had a dark rim at the top where the light stopped. I first experienced this on my grandfather's 2007 MX-5 Grand Touring Miata. These headlights give your old car a modern look. They are amazing! Installation: I have some decorative plastic panels in the engine bay of my 2009 Lexus GX470 and am a perfectionist so it took me over 3 hours to install and replace everything. You will need double-sided tape to attach the converter boxes to sheet metal or elsewhere. Clean the area well and wipe dry before sticking the double-sided tape. Durability: I can't comment on the lifespan of the headlights as I've only just installed them. I also don't drive the car very often because it uses gas, gas prices are going up and it needs at least 91 octane premium fuel. But rest assured unless there is an update below this post saying these lights were given to me have a big hit, they still work and blind people when necessary. I cannot recommend them enough. I have to buy more because when I find something I really like, it's always discontinued within a year. Please let me know if this review helped you. There will be pictures soon and possibly a video of me lighting those lights for the first time at night in the parking lot I spoke of earlier.
